I haven’t done a “What I Ate Wednesday” (WIAW) post in a while, so I figured I would take pics of my eats for the day. I do share a lot of my food stuff with you guys on Instagram stories, but I think it’s helpful to see what a complete day looks like too.
If you’re new to my WIAW please read this post first because I really explain what my intensions are for writing posts like this. Hopefully these types of post give you some new meal or snack ideas. TBH this week has been a lot more put together than most these days because I was really focused on meal planning and prepping Sunday which makes a significant difference. I’ve been wanting to try some new recipes this week too, so I’ve linked a few below 😉
6:30am: I’ve been having my “morning elixer” for about a month now before my coffee and loving the hydration and vitamin C start to my day. Here is how I make it: 1 packet Emergen-C + 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon + 1 T organic apple cider vinegar + 1 cup water…chuuuug it!
7:00am: Every morning I drink my coffee with 2 scoops Vital Proteins and mix with Califia Farms creamer in my Yeti mug. Keeps my coffee hot for hours!
8:00am: I blended up a banana + greens Daily Harvest smoothie and used Trader Joe’s green juice as the liquid base. I also added Bee Pollen, Green Dream, 1 T chia seeds, 1 T acacia fiber.
10:45am: Post Pure Barre fuel. I’m loving these Tone it Up protein packed mini muffins.
12:30pm: Leftovers for lunch is an easy go-to. Last night I made this Egg Roll in a Bowl recipe and there was plenty of extras for lunch today. I topped it with chipotle ranch dressing and 1/4 avocado.
2:30pm: I’m craving something sweet and cozy because the weather is sucking in Seattle. I made a Daily Harvest Chaga latte with unsweetened hemp milk. It’s a really filling snack.
4:00pm: Handful of Simple Mills crackers while Quinn had her afternoon snack.
7:30pm: Chicken Avocado Tacos I used Siete tortillas and the tacos were so good!
8:30pm: I pretty much always have dessert especially if I’m not drinking wine. I had 1/2 cup coconut ice cream + Enjoy Life dark chocolate chips + fresh berries. YUM!
9:00pm: Time to catch up on the Bachelorette and drink my CALM tea 😉 Night night!
Thanks for following along! Let me know if you like seeing these types of posts…would you want to see a 5 day meal plan like this?
xx,
Alix
