In the past I’ve loaded up on all.the.things. every blogger told me “I had to have”. I would get all the trendy pieces and spent way too much money. This sale gets a lot of buzz every year and for good reason. It’s a fun sale and there are things that go on sale that never would otherwise. However, this sale isn’t worth going broke over- it’s not that deep 😉
I’ve wised up over the years. Now I go through my closet and really figure out what I need, not what I want from this sale. I made a wishlist of a few staples that I want to stock up on this year, and luckily I was able to snag everything on my wishlist.
Just like Heather mentioned in her post Monday some things might be sold out by the time you get a chance to shop (which is really annoying), but keep checking back because things will likely get returned and restocked.
This sale is a great opportunity to invest in items that never really go on sale. For example, in the previous years I’ve bought the T3 hair dryer, curling iron. I’ve gotten the Barefoot Dreams cardigan and blanket. Great staples you will use for years!
