Ross and I went on a quick trip to Cabo last weekend for a dear friend’s wedding. I’ve only been to Mexico one other time when I was 15 and went to Cancun, so it was nice to travel somewhere I haven’t been before. I was blown away by the beauty Cabo and how friendly everyone was. We got absolutely perfect weather and it was fun to get dressed up. We know I love to wear some color, much to Heather’s horror sometimes, so I was in my element when the bride requested everyone wear bright colors all weekend. I understood the assignment 😉

This was from my Austin travel day, but I essentially wore the same outfit on our flight to and from Cabo. I can’t recommend this carry on bag enough. It’s $$$, but has been a game changer for travel. I can fit so much in it which is ideal when traveling with the kids or I’m stuffing my emotional support blanket in it. It has a zipper closure and fits under the seat on the airplane.

Our flight was delayed, so we got to the hotel late and missed the welcome drinks, but I threw on this dress and we ran out the door to get on the shuttle to take us in to town. No time to freshen up make up and hair, but who cares!
We spend the evening with a big group exploring the town and grabbing dinner. While popping into a few shops a girl asked me where my dress was from. It’s from a boutique in Gig Harbor called RSTORIE, but the brand of the dress is called Sky to Moon. I can’t find the exact dress online, but this one is similar.

The next morning we had yoga on the beach. I really love this set and the ribbed material. Perfect for yoga and Pilates and comes in a few pother colors online.

Ross and I went on a 3 mile beach walk each morning after breakfast. Then it was a pool hang day with everyone.

Me being me, I waited until the day before to pack and decided I should finally try on the dress I was a planning on wearing the night before the wedding. I loved the dress I was originally going to wear, but did not read the reviews and did not size up as recommended. I couldn’t zip it past my ribs- whoops! I ran to Nordstrom which did not have the dress in store to get a different size, but I fell in love with this red Farm Rio dress.

swimsuit skirt (similar) hat sandals sunglasses
Beach walk and pool fit day 2. I got a lot of messages about this skirt and sadly it’s an old Zara. I linked a similar one though.

I absolutely loved this dress. It has a strappy back with cut outs and fit like a glove. It was so comfortable and I was able to dance the night away in it.

Spent our last morning grabbing breakfast, chatting about how much fun we had the night before, then hit up the beach on last time.
Until next time Mexico!
xx, A
