I need a lip SPF for the upcoming summer months.. everything I’ve tried tastes or smells horrible.
I just discovered this brand and decided to try it and can confirm, it’s legit. I’ve been on a journey to find a good lip SPF as well and hate everything because the second it gets in your mouth, it’s disgusting. This one has an actual lip gloss feel and look and doesn’t taste bad at all. I can’t even tell it’s SPF. I got color Bejewelled.
Did you pick anything up from the Sephora sale?
I did a dedicated post here but here is what I picked up for myself:
What are the most effective skincare treatments you’ve done in the past?
BBL laser for sun spots + CO2 or something equivalent like Halo or Moxi on top of the BBL treatment for fine lines and improved texture (I do this multiple times in the fall and winter)
Microneedling with PDGF for collagen production
I’ve stopped doing any sort of hydrafacials (or relaxing/spa facials) in between as I don’t see the long term effects and just don’t think they’re worth the money. Lasers and microneedling is where I’m investing as I get older as they actually have the ability to change the texture and appearance of my skin.
On top of all of that, I invest in my skincare. I love high and low products.. Prequel is amazing. SPF is a hero product that you should be applying daily because it is the true fountain of youth. But I also invest in growth factor serums like this duo that I was turned on to by my naturopath. Plated is another growth factor that is the gold standard when it comes to growth factors but I have a hard time with the price tag.
Can you share the red light masks you each have? Thanks!
We have these ones and try to be consistent with them for 10 minutes daily:
What supplements should all women in their 40s (and beyond) be taking daily? Omega? Probiotic? Calcium? Magnesium?
I always recommend getting your labs checked every 6-12 months to make sure you are not blindly supplementing. However, my blanket recommendations without seeing your lab work for most women: high dose omega for cardiovascular and cognition support (unless you get at least 3 servings fatty fish a week). Vitamin D3 (get labs checked so you know how many IUs to take, but impossible to get enough via food). Magnesium specifically glycinate to help with sleep, stress, and anxiety. If your overall intake is not consistently balanced then a multivitamin will help fill in the gaps. If you don’t consume dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt) 2-3 servings a day you might consider a supplement. I do not think everyone needs probiotic, so that is more of a case by case basis. I also recommend creatine at least 5 grams a day 😉
I need a new pair of jean shorts for the warmer weather, but would like a bit longer/mom fit.

Can you link the colorful stripped beach bags again?
Yes! I ordered the navy/green but honestly love all the colors and it took me 15 minutes to decide on a color. I got size medium and might regret not getting the large but we will see when it comes in May!
Looking for a lightweight grey cardigan that I can dress up with jeans or more casual over a workout tank.
