Happy February!! FINALLY. January was the longest month EVER. Anyone else feel that way? We made it through. Namaste.
We thought it would be fun and a good idea to team up for our “monthly favorites” and post them on the first Friday of every month in lieu of Happy Hour. So here’s what we hoarded over the past 31 days:

It’s no secret that band tees are pop-u-larrrrrr.. every blogger is “rocking” one these days. So I jumped on the “band” wagon. OK I’m done with the jokes. But I’m not about to spend $65 on a rocker tee that may or may not be COOL in a week or two. So.. I spent like $9 at American Eagle and got two Rolling Stones tees (who happen to be coming to Seattle in May BTW). I sized up because I want them to be a little bit longer so I can front tuck them in my jeans. And I can wear them with leggings and they cover my booty.. no one needs to see that. Other favorites here | here | here. So cheap and cute.. why not?!
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench
Want a DRINK for your skin? Here ya go. Winter months got my skin feeling like sandpaper so I need all the moisture and hydration. Enter: Peter Thomas Roths’ Water Drench Moisturizer. I use it day and night and a little goes a long way. Although I kinda wish I could dunk my entire face in the jar. My skin literally drinks it like a cocktail.. can’t get enough.
Because doesn’t everyone want to keep the head on their hair healthy and damage-free? Also, these scrunchies actually hold your hair while RUNNING.. what?! No joke. They’re durable and cute.. and like $8-$12. Load up.
Alix introduced me to these running tights and I gotta say.. worth the splurge.. although I did find them on sale and linked above. WOOT WOOT you’re welcome. Now that I’m starting to run (let’s be real it’s more of a jog but I’m gonna pretend I’M A RUNNER NOW!!), I needed to invest in better bottoms. Love my Aligns.. always will.. and will always wear them to barre or yoga BUT I needed something with a pocket for my phone for outdoor runs and also a fabric that won’t show ANY SWEAT.. ya know?! The 7/8 tights are where it’s at for my runner-babes. Get yourself a pair.. thank me (or Alix, whatever) later.

I’ve known about Sun Potion for a while and have been wanting to up my potion adaptogen game, so I thought I would start with Ashwagandha. Adaptogens are natural plant materials that support the body in natural processes, including gut health and regulating stress levels.
Ashwagandha is an herb used in Ayurvedic Medicine and said to have healing properties. Health claims include: immune system booster, inspire vigor and strength, stress relief, and support hormone balance. I’ve been adding 1/2 teaspoon into my morning coffee or smoothie every morning. I ordered mine off Thrive Market and it’s a little pricey, but you use such a small amount (more is not better) so it will last a while. I’m into it!
I used to go to a nail salon in California that offered these types of gloves when getting a gel manicure and it just seemed like such a no brainer! I always feel a little tinge of regret when I stick my hands under the UV lights, so when I saw these online I knew I needed them! To be honest, they just came in the mail and I’m taking a little shellac break, so I haven’t used them yet. They come in really fun patterns, but I kept it basic and just got black. For $24 it seems like a good investment because I get my nails done frequently and want to protect my hands.
This might be my fave find!! First of all, it’s the cutest pink color and would make a great V-day gift for a gal pal (or yourself!). I’ve wanted a waffle maker for a while now, but didn’t want another big appliance to store and never use. I was browsing the options at Target and died when I saw this cutie… I snagged the last one on the shelf! I have been using the Simple Mills mix (pictured above) and Quinn and I have been loving these for breakfast! We are topping them with nut butter and berries. I also want to try this recipe for myself with the GG crackers.
Ok I know I look silly, but I seriously love this thing. I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week, so when I actually do I try to do my hair and get a good blow out. This towel dries my hair super fast and stays on my head while I’m getting dressed and doing my make-up. I blow dry my hair last and it takes so much less time after having this towel on and using this hair dryer. Overall, I’m loving this product because it’s helping me save time getting ready and supposedly less damaging on your hair.
We hope you enjoy our new format to Monthly Favorites and if there’s anything you’ve come across in your travels recently that you think we and our readers should try, comment below!! Thanks for following along. Cheers and happy weekend!
