Alix is the one who turned me onto this long sleeve and now I own three.. whoopsies. But they are such a good price point for the quality and the fit. I like a size medium but could also do a large for a more oversized, cozy look. I love the new colors that just dropped and got the navy, white and grey version. I wear it over my workout clothes to a class, with jeans, shorts, and to sporting events. I have received so many compliments every time I wear it, too so I just keep adding them to the arsenal 🙂
I recently visited an esthetician who is a nurse to discuss the melasma on my face (triggered by hormones and heat) and I told her I was using a tinted SPF daily to help prevent further damage and flare ups and she said that what I was using wasn’t enough. I needed an actual mineral SPF to truly BLOCK any sun from reaching my face. She recommended the Colorscience version and I have been loving it. It goes on white on your fingers and then quickly adjusts to your skin tone. They have different color options and I have the medium in summer time and will switch to light in the winter when I don’t have a tan. It applies very much like a foundation (but a lightweight one) and I treat it as such daily. I apply it with my fingers and it absorbs beautifully. Some SPF’s can feel very much like an actual SPF and this feels like a tinted moisturizer but it’s doing the heavy lifting of blocking out the sun. Pricey but worth it in my opinion!
One of my fave bday gifts this year! Alix got me this navy blue lightweight jacket and I’ve been wearing it nonstop in the mornings for walks. We really ease into fall here in the PNW and it doesn’t get super cold for a few months so having a lightweight wind breaker is an essential closet staple. I’ve been loving all things navy blue so Alix nailed this one! The crop design is so flattering and the hood will come in handy when the rain starts.
Another athleisure piece I’ve been wearing nonstop in this warm summer weather. This skirt is SO lightweight it barely feels like you’re wearing anything at all. I got the black and have worn it to my kids lacrosse games and to play pickleball. It’s cute enough to wear daily with a tank and flip flops, too. The cut of the skirt is also very flattering.. both Alix and I have it and rave about it to everyone!

I have been going through the girls clothes and figuring out what they need for the new school year and realized I was also do for an undies refresh. I really like Aerie’s selection and they are having a killer deal 10 pairs for $35 and you can mix and match.
Another great beauty find from one of our most trusted besties. I use this cleansing balm to take off my makeup, sunscreen, etc. before washing my face with my cleanser. I am obsessed with the packaging…you twist the top and it shaves off the product for use, so you get the perfect amount you want and are not sticking your fingers into a tub of product. While it might now smell as good as my Elemis cleansing balm, it’s much more affordable, just as effective, and I like the packaging better 😉
I trust and love Needed supplements and have a subscription for the perimenopause bundle. They just dropped their creatine this week, but they sent me the product early to sample. I mix it with about 4 oz of water first thing in the morning and drink it before my workouts. Another methods I will sometimes take it is by mixing it into my yogurt or oatmeal. It’s a wonderful product by a trusted brand I could not recommend more. I have been drooling over these sneakers for over a year and finally pulled the triggers because I loved this colorway esp. with fall around the corner. They are incredibly comfortable and I wear them primarily for strength training, cross training, jump training, errands, etc. I do not wear them for long walks/runs I love my ON shoes for that. Personally, these fit TTS, but some have said they need to size up.
I have to throw an extra favorite in this month because I am obsessed with this spray. My hairdresser used this on me last time I had an appointment and I asked her what it was. She said it was a brand that her coworker turned the entire salon on to. It’s a but $ but it works so well. My bougie 5 year old is also obsessed and steals it daily….I have to cut her off how many sprays she uses because it’s $$ girlfriend!!
